Dear Friend,

It may be difficult to believe but Election Day, May 19th, is only 60 days away.

Here is where we are, where we are going and how we could use your help
.
30 Day Goals
Our goal over the next 30 days is to increase Hugh's visibility and name recognition across the county through door-to-door canvassing and phone banking. In addition, there are over 15 house parties scheduled during the next month and Hugh is continuing to attend local community, social and political events. Here are some ways you can help.

Tuesday Night Phone Banks
Every Tuesday evening, we will be gathering at the campaign office at 5890 Ellsworth Avenue in Shadyside, 15232, to make phone calls. Please bring your cell phone. We will have a list of phone numbers and a phone script. Our first Tuesday night phone bank will be on March 24th starting at 4:30. We will continue calling until 7:30. Please let us know if you can attend.

Thursday Night Canvass
Starting on Thursday March 26th and continuing on every Thursday evening for the remainder of the campaign, we will be doing door-to-door canvassing. Canvassers will gather at the campaign office, located at 5890 Ellsworth Avenue, Pittsburgh starting at 4:30. Our Thursday night canvassing will start by targeting Pittsburgh area neighborhoods and then expand to other areas throughout the county.

Neighborhood Canvassing
If you would like to canvass your neighborhood and want a list of the most likely voters, please send us an email and we can send you a list. If you would like Hugh to accompany you, we can arrange for an evening or early morning weekend when Hugh could be available.

Weekend Canvassing:
We have targeted neighborhoods where we would like to mobilize large groups of canvassers to cover on a Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon. Our first target neighborhood is Mt. Lebanon on Saturday April 5th. If you are able to help, please let us know and we will provide you with more details. Our goal is to start by 10:30 am and be done by 12:30 or 1 pm.

House Parties & Office Receptions:
We have had a tremendous response to our request to host house parties for Hugh. If you have not signed up and still would like to host an event, please contact us at campaign@mcgough4judge.com . If you would like to host a reception at your firm or work or just walk Hugh around your office, please let us know.

30 Days to Election Day Rally:
Please mark your calendar for Sunday April 19th. The campaign will be hosting a 30 Day to Election Day Rally. The Rally will start at 5 pm. The location is still being determined. Please plan on joining us for an evening of fun as we kick off the final 30 days of the campaign.

Poll Workers:
If you have not yet signed up, please do. We need as many poll workers as possible. It is the single most important way of helping Hugh to be elected. If you can work all day or part of the day, please let us know at campaign@mcgough4judge.com We are already assigning polls so if you have a certain polling site that you would like to work, please let us know as soon as possible.

Lawn Signs:
The lawn signs have been ordered and should be here no later than April 1st. As soon as they arrive, we will have a "Sign Construction and Pizza Eating Evening".

Thanks again for all your help and assistance.

Sam Hens-Greco

PS: The ballot positions were drawn on Wednesday. Hugh will be #11 on the Democratic ballot and #3 on the Republican side.

The government positions for

The government positions for which elections are held vary depending on the locale.vmware certification training In a representative democracy, such as the United States, some positions are not filled through elections, especially those which are seen as requiring a certain competency or excellence. For example, ccnp certification judges are usually appointed rather than elected to help protect their impartiality. There are exceptions to this practice, however; some judges in the United States are elected, ccnt and in ancient Athens military generals were elected.
